A monster prize pool was announced by Bodog, with the main Texas hold em tournament giving away $300,000. Total cash for the eight day poker event will be more than $650,000, over the course of the weeklong poker tournament. The Bodog Poker Open II will begin Sunday, September 28th and continues until Sunday, October 5th. The well-known poker website will also feature six “Bounty” games, where the competitors can win $109 in tournament credits for each Team Bodog poker participant they eliminate from the poker match. The biggest poker celebs will be taking on all competitors in the Texas Hold em tournament.

Team Bodog star, Justin Bonomo, is undeniably thrilled about the poker championship. Throughout his poker career, the 23 year old has brought home over $1.4 million. He says that if you considered that the first Texas Hold em tournament was huge, you will definitely be amazed with this year’s tournament and the cash involved. He also challenges anyone that dares to knock him out of the Bounty Tournament to come forward.

The opening Bounty Tournament is going to be the first poker contest in the tournament on Sunday. Any poker challenger has the ability to buy-In right into this, and any of the other poker events with cash. Or another alternative is to win their way into the events through the satellites which are held every night during the poker championship week. Bodoglife is going to hold six bounty tournaments and seven “Championship Events”, that will have higher buy-ins and deeper stacks.
