This Sunday, November 30th the CBS network will air their special program “How Online Gamblers Unmasked Cheaters”. This investigation special was produced after a four-month research into the online Texas Hold’em business and exclusively a deceitful scandal with the online Texas Hold’em poker site Absolute Poker.

This Texas Hold’em site was investigated after several of the Texas Hold’em players on the webpage stated that a player was unlawfully winning a great amount of cash. Todd Witteles was a key player in this research, according to him; he was losing large amounts of cash to the exact same poker player. Witteles claimed that this gambler was raising against very good hands, the majority of people would have believed he was just giving out his money, but he was unbelievably winning money.

Witteles was in the right with his statements, following this it was discovered that someone possibly working for the company was able to spy on anyone’s poker hole cards. At first look, Absolute Poker claimed that there were no faults with the room or the Texas Hold’em poker player. After numerous players presented the site with accusations, the poker website examined further into the cheating problem and uncovered the scam.

Around Jan. of this year, the KGC came across what the Texas Hold’em competitors and the poker webpage had suspected all the time. As it turns out, there was a staff member who had attacked the Texas Hold’em poker room’s security system and was playing dishonestly for close to six weeks. The examination verified that the Texas Hold’em poker room had not benefited from the illegal transactions whatsoever, and was in no way, shape or form involved.

These illegal activities are further confirmation that there should be more control in regards to poker sites. The U.S. government ought to license and regulate the online Texas Hold’em industry to shield these honorable customers. These guidelines would also regulate the access to these webpages by children, which is becoming another issue lately.
