Chris “Jesus” Ferguson-Texas Hold’em Poker Pro

When considering the players that make up some of the most talented individuals on earth, Chris Ferguson is certainly a name among the very top of his list.  Starting out playing poker in high school against friends and acquaintances, Chris started early at learning to succeed at the gaming table, even going so far as to make 22 visits to Las Vegas, where he managed to have much success, 20 of these trips ending in victory.  But the real bug didn’t hit until 1989, when Ferguson discovered the IRC chat rooms, one of which featured poker tournament play that was very similar to Texas Hold’em poker tournaments and other types of gaming that was common in Las Vegas and other gambling centers of the world.  With the excitement level high, Ferguson rode the wave of play money gambling until he finally stopped playing in the mid-90s, after staying at the top position consistently for several years.  When he finally began playing professionally in small tournaments in and around Los Angeles, he began to win consistently, playing for every small amounts and following the prime rule of not strapping the players bankroll.  Grinding away, Ferguson of actually made it to the World Series events through a satellite winning, which brought him the main prize a seat at the World Series of poker tournament in Las Vegas, where he would promptly have 12 finishes making the final table several times while never placing higher than fourth.
But that all changed in 2000, as he brought in his second bracelet in the championship event that year after winning $151,000 in another event featuring seven card stud.  It was undoubtedly obvious at this point that Ferguson was ready for the big time and ready to compete against strong professional competition at the professional Texas Hold’em poker tournaments.  After continuous play, Chris Ferguson has established himself as one of the most successful Texas Hold’em poker tournament players.  In 2002 Ferguson returned to his roots of online poker and established a team of designers to build the Fulltiltpoker.com website.  With this effort to change the face of the online poker room and casino world itself, Ferguson hoped to provide not only the strongest software on the Internet for online poker room and casino players to utilize, but to allow players a strong source of action that is consistently liberal and appeals to all walks of life.
